Single Equality Policy
Single Equality Targets
- To encourage open and positive attitudes towards diversity and the development of the skills, understanding and confidence to challenge prejudice, discrimination and stereotyping.
- To support the development of the skills, knowledge, understanding and motivation our children need to become active citizens who recognise their rights and responsibilities towards others no matter what their background or beliefs.
- To learn that equality is a key principle for treating all people fairly and creating a society in which everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential - irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age or any other recognised area of discrimination.
